I’m a married mother of three animated (as in cartoonish) children living in the sunny suburbs of Denver, Colorado, and I’m not above using their images, quotes or likenesses to increase my traffic.
I’m also a Gemini, which is by far the coolest astrological sign in the zodiac. Why? Because I’m a twin without a sister, and I don’t have to share my clothes or fight over the bathroom. Plus I have an excuse for days when I’m a little, um….crazy.
You’ll see the duality of my Gemininess expressed on this blog. Some posts are reflective, representing my daydreamer/stargazer/true believer in all things good perspective on life. Others are a little more shallow, because a small amount of superficiality inspires readers, and hopefully you, to laugh. You’ll generally see this point of view when I don’t sleep and am in a really bad mood.
In addition to being a dual-natured pseudo twin, I stalk people in my ginormous Yukon XL who text while driving, so if you’re gonna be on I-25 anytime soon look out.
Finally, I’m a writer working on my first novel. I started this blog so that I could avoid working on my first novel and feel good about it. Plus I get to make up words (“Gemininess” doesn’t even officially exist!), which is fun.

Stacie I just love your blog. You have such a beautiful and dynamic writing style, I can feel the words flow off the page the same way you put them there. That’s a great skill and talent, and I hope you have the best of luck continuing your writing endeavors! I will definitely be back to read more. I just wanted to let you know
David,
What an amazing way to end my night and start a new week. Thanks so much for the supportive and generous comment. I’ll do my best to write something worth coming back for.
Cheers and thanks again!
Stacie
Where’s the LOVE button when I need it?!
Hugs,
Kathy
Thanks for the sweet comment, Kathryn!

The should add the word ‘Gemininess’ to the dictionary soon . So when I say I love blogging and don’t do it for 2 months I don’t have to explain .
You have a lovely space up here . I am amazed at how you manage to bring up such coherent posts from our messy gemini head .Keep up the good work .
Awww, what a sweet comment. I’m sometimes surprised that I’m able to do anything at all, much less write. From one Gemini to another, have a great day. We Gemini know, if nothing else, how to have fun. =)
welll: poopeez! can i revel and wallow in Piscesosity?
You Pisces are dual natured like we Gemini. Boat loads of personalities make for lots and lots of fun. Or fights. But hopefully fun. =)
Where are you, Stacie? On behalf of your readership, we need another post.
I have a readership? Sweet!
I adopted a dog a couple of days after the last post so things have been a little crazy. I’ll get something out this week. Maybe. I hope. After I take a shower.
Thanks for the love Calahan…
=)
New dog! That’s such great news. I want to see a picture!
Good luck with your Novel!
Thanks for the positive thoughts, after a 6 month hiatus (for no good reason) I start writing again on Tuesday… =o
I can tell I am going to enjoy your posts and I do so enjoy making up words.
Anyone who takes the English language at face value is super in my book. I’m not a fraction as awesome (or to use her phrase, amaze-balls) as SweetMother, but I do like to have fun. Thanks for the follow Michelle!
I agree about Geminis! They rock!
G
Thanks Gigi!
I always thought Saggitarians were the coolest (and I still go by my belief
) Anyway you made me think over it after I saw blog…May be we’ll tag them both to be the coolest and also the best! What say?
What? Did I not “like” this page a thousand times, already?
Awwww, thanks Victoria! =)
I just read three of your blog posts after seeing your freshly pressed post and oh my god, I was in fits of laughter. There’s something about Gemini’s that make you very hilarious and witty – my boyfriend is a Gemini and he has this witty thing going on too – so thank you for being funny! It’s certainly brightened up my day reading your blog especially as I’m staring at my screen with nothing else to do! Following your wonderfully hilarious blog
- Jane
Jane,
Anytime you’re staring at your screen with nothing else to do, just google “Jersey Shore.” JUST KIDDING! Come back! I only post about every week or so, because, let’s face it, we all have better things to do, right?
Thanks so much for your sweet words and for taking the time to read multiple posts. I truly appreciate it!
Stacie
P.S. Gemini Rock!
Stacie: Love your blog! A friend of mine “liked” your blog on FB and given it’s title (I’m a Gemini, too) I was curious and checked it out. Very funny and love hearing about your family. I’m a mother of two (12 and 9) and relate to your adventures! I also live in Castle Pines, too.
Wow! Thank you!
It’s so great to hear from someone in the ‘hood and to know that FB is useful for something other than political opinions.
At 12, 10, and 8 you and I are in the thick of it. Hope we run into each other when we’re not mediating arguments…Heidi Duston, right?
Congratulations! You have just been awarded the “Best Moment Award”! Enjoy the rest of your day! http://www.momentmatters.com/best-moment-award-03062013/

http://infinityx17.wordpress.com/2013/03/20/the-creative-blog-award/
That’s awfully kind of you. Thanks so much!
A Gemini is no Pisces, but I like your writing! Not that it matters what I think since I’m no writer and I’ve outlived the desired market demographics. I don’t know what that means, but I hope it makes me sound intelligent.
Your comment sounds a little bit like the bots that end up in my spam file, but for some reason, it really DOES sound intelligent to me. Thanks for the comment. =)
Stacie: Came across your name in my Outlook and found your awesome blog. Hope all is well – - sounds like it is!
